UK Job Opportunity - BUSINESS SYSTEMS MANAGER - FINANCE

Dear all

Tyco Healthcare EIS is based in Gosport, Hampshire, England. There is not
very much travelling, the job will be mainly office based.

Manager is in the title so that the job can include a Car, there is no line
management responsibility - the BAM's (Business Application Manager) look
after the team.

BUSINESS SYSTEMS MANAGER - FINANCE

A vacancy exists within the EMEA Information Services department for a
Business Systems Manager based at Gosport.  The position will report to the
Business Application Manager - Finance.

This is a key position requiring expertise in knowledge of JBA finance
applications thus providing the ability to develop plans and system designs
keeping the interrelationship between other applications in mind.  The
ability to anticipate problems, provide solutions on potential problems with
the necessary priority, and presenting the solution to the business partners
must be performed.  This position will require the ability to manage
projects, provide mentoring of other IS staff, and provide supervision of
others on projects as well as being able to act in a consultancy role
advising and training the user community.  Building relationships with the
business partners and being able to present ideas clearly and concisely will
be a requirement of this position.

The applicant must have an extensive knowledge of JBA software as well as an
awareness of the financial operations and processes of a large organisation.


In addition, they must: -

·       Possess strong project management skills
·       Be capable of planning and managing system implementations
·       Have leadership and motivational skills
·       Be able to build strong relationships with Business Partners
understanding their issues and business needs 
·       Be able to write clearly and persuasively 
·       Be able to manage their own time and a project team's time
·       Be able to give a presentation to all levels of Tyco Management
·       Be able to provide detailed consultancy support to both users and IS
staff
