Allocating Collection Documents

A client of mine has a issue with allocating a Cash amount with a Collection 
Document. Below is the info from Cedit Manager :
Type/Ref.        Doc              Original       Outstanding   P  Perd  
 CD 00005776 190104            17.96              17.96      6   0405 1
 UC 34126302 140604            17.96-             17.96-     1   0410 1
When they go into the allocation program, and select items, only the UC record 
is displayed.
Should the CD record show in allocations, or does it need to be processed to 
another status before it is available to allocate?
