Juan,
Bit of a catch-22 here.....we had to set Accounting Calendar Active to 1 in 
order to successfully post transactions through the Cash Book interface  (long 
story!).  So, setting the parameter back to 0 sadly isn't an option we can take.

Reading what you say about setting it to "1" - can more than one GL period be 
active at a time?

Check the value you have in Country Specific
Parameters for parameter 14.
To do this use Maintain Company Specific Parameters
(menu GLU option 33) and enter your GL Company.

The manual describes this parameter as;
Accounting Calendar Active?
0 - The posting period of a transaction defaults to
the current period. This can be changed.
1 - The posting period is calculated by the system
from the date of the transaction.

If this is set to 1, then the Interface program SLI05
checks the FLP067 for your GL Company, Calendar Code
(0001) & Period (PPERI1). If the Period is NOT set as
Active (PDAC67 not equal to '1'), then you get the
error you described.

If the parameter is set to 0, then the only way you
can get the error is if the FLP067 record does NOT
exist. Again this is retrieved using GL Company,
Calendar Code (0001) & PPERI1.

Our company has this set to 0 for the 5 countries we
operate in within Europe. I have used the SL Interface
a lot, both for links to external systems and in
migrating new companies onto System21. It works great
for us, so if you need any more help, don't hesitate
to get in touch.
