The way we handle it is to do a DRP transfer from
our primary Stockroom to a 'dummy' promotions
stockrooms, at 'some point in time' the accounts ask
for the values in these stockrooms to be written off
(done by doing a stocktake on the stockroom and not
entering any count values).

On a separate line of thought, do you need the system
generated Delivery Advice?? Would some sort of manual
piece of paper suffice....you could then just do a
stock adjustment to decrease your stock level.
