This works for direct postings, log entry, and log transfer sessions. Maybe others, but that's pretty much all we do here: Option 32/apu. Enter the session number and the company number and press enter. This task requires exclusive use of the company in the AP module. (But, if you know that the session actually failed, you can remove the exclusivity from the task) Once that is done, go back into the menu option that the user was in Immediately press f12. You will be prompted for the session again. Enter it and press enter. The first screen that you see will show you the control total and the accumulated totals of the batch. I generally tell my users to go ahead and press enter without changing anything. At this point, the user is back in the session like they never left. I usually ask the user to delete the last item that they entered and re-enter it. If your payables module is linked to Job Management and that last transaction was job related, you may have an extra cost post to the job (but not to payables)-- this can be undone by doing a direct posting to relieve the cost from the job. They may have some issues with their control total being off when they go to finish their session (our users never use control totals) Mike -----Original Message----- From: Mona Ferriols [mailto:mon.ferriols@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, December 15, 2003 12:20 AM To: Jbausers-L (E-mail) Subject: [SYSTEM21] AP session How do you recover an AP session with 'I' as status? User's computer conked out just as he was confirming log entries. Now when we try to confirm again, system says "reference already in Accounts Payable", but they do not appear in 11/APY (ad hoc payments). In PLP15 items affected do not have event number and record status code is not D.
