Jeff, I am not sure about the wisdom of using the Inactivity Timeout facility on the iSeries in combination with System21. In fact I have advised some companies against using it because of the possibility of corrupting data in S21, especially in the Finance applications. My concern is that a 2 hour limit could catch someone who leaves a session running during the day (especially over lunch). S21 doesn't handle these terminations very elegantly, and if users were in the middle of posting a transaction strange things can happen. At the very least it creates a record in the System Manager dumps file and an error report on OSLDUMPS, which someone ought to be investigating. This can happen for any number of reasons, including PC or network problems, power being switched off, etc., etc., and I'd prefer to minimise the amount of work in checking these "errors". I don't have better suggestions (other than public flogging for any users who leave sessions running when they leave the office), but I just thought I'd raise this issue in case anyone else has any bright ideas. Chris
