It really depends upon whether you are looking for something for customers or employees. Assuming you consider JBA Order Entry satisfactory, for employee order entry via the web you should consider using Microsoft Termserver or Citrix. You get remote access via web browser and you are only supporting one application (standard JBA). We use this quite a bit to give employees access from home. For customer web order entry, there are plenty of vendors selling their packages. We purchased JBA's solution (the old one based upon MS IIS not WebSphere), but ended up developing our own solution including sales tax, freight cost calculations, credit card validation, etc. We have done both a real-time interface into JBA and a batch interface. Harbinger used JWALK to create the front end for TLE/400, the EDI package If you want a batch update, Then I would use the Application Interface, and populate the relevant AIP files, as used by EDI Hope this helps Derek Hunt EDI Consultant www.derekhunt.co.uk ----- Original Message ----- From: "Neil Thursby" <neil.thursby@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "System 21 Users" <system21@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, September 26, 2003 5:12 PM Subject: [SYSTEM21] Web-based order entry > Has anyone successfully implemented a Web-based version of Advanced Order Entry?
