We went to V5R2 in March we are at S21 3.5.2 SP3. The only experience we have had since the going to V5R2 is that we have had an increased number of destroyed objects. They have always been data areas. Happens very irregularly so we have not been able to determine the cause. Otherwise everything runs OK. One word of broader awareness however. If you are using Client Access to access the your system, and do not upgrade the clients, each client will get an error when they sign on. I don't recall the exact message. Just click on the OK. This took us by surprise, but IBM told us that it was due to some compatibility issues with older CA versions but should be OK. Also, note that the CHGSPLF screen has significant changes. +--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ Jim Hawkins IBM Certified Specialist AS/400 RPG IV Programmer Programmer/Analyst Eimo Americas 269.649.5021 269.649.3427 (fax) ***** Note new e-mail address as of 2/13 is: Jim.Hawkins@xxxxxxxx**** If we call good evil, and call evil good where is our hope? +--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+
