Duane,

You can run 44/PMR to get a list of those cancelled GRNs. I've tested it and
if i have two users simultaneously accessing the receiving program, the
first user in would allocated a GRN number, say GRN 123, the second one will
have GRN 124. If the first user presses F3 without actually having received
anything, then GRN 123 would be "cancelled" as the system cannot re-use GRN
123 since the last GRN used is already 124. Hope that helps :o)

Mona

Hi Duane

GRN numbers are controlled from PM Co profile. Check third screen on Co
profile maint. If Auto GRN numbering is on (='1') then system will
generate sequential GRN's from the set starting number up to the ending
number. You can also see the last GRN no used on this screen.

These fields are held in the PM co profile file PMP10 as SGRN10, LGRN10 &
EGRN10.

GRN numbers are 'grabbed' when receiving a PO line. IF you have multiple
users in the company receiving PO lines simultaneously then it is quite
feasible that the GRN numbers for multiple lines on a single order may NOT
be sequential. In this case the 'missing' GRN numbers will be on other
order lines being received at the same time.

A quick scan over PMP09 should show all the GRN numbers and to which
PO/line they refer.

On JBA Standard Version Inventory Stock Counting Menu, if quantity
allocated is 100 and a cycle count totals to 50, and an adjustment is
made to inventory, what happens to the allocated 100? Does it change to
50, or are orders de-allocated to reflect an allocated amount of 50.

Bill:

Without having a system to test on, my guess would be that Allocations would

not be touched, and Available stock would be driven negative (50 - 100 =
-50).
You may need to de-allocate some or all of the the open orders.
