Geez Alan, You obviously don't have enough to do! Are you folks seriously considering this? The obvious ramifications of this are overwhelming. After the file changes, consider all the reports and screens that you're going to affect. And, it's not like adding a couple of characters... these will be MAJOR report/screen re-designs.
