The reference to OSLDRZ3 is a GEAC library name. This reflects the location
of the source when the object was created on GEAC's AS/400. Not sure about
the object size difference between V3R1M0 and V5R1M0...however the original
compile objects may differ from your selection hence your object size
discrepancy (

The best way is to use this DSPOBJD command for DR006:

                      Display Object Description (DSPOBJD)

 Type choices, press Enter.

 Object . . . . . . . . . . . . . OBJ > BRSPL49
   Library . . . . . . . . . . . > BRODERICK
 Object type . . . . . . . . . . OBJTYPE > *PGM
 Detail . . . . . . . . . . . . . DETAIL > *SERVICE
 Output . . . . . . . . . . . . . OUTPUT *

You will see this display:

Source file . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : RSPL40
  Library . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : MAB
Member . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : BRSPL49
Attribute . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : CLP
User-defined attribute . . . . . . . . . :
Freed . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : NO
Size . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : 57344
Creation date/time . . . . . . . . . . . : 06/16/94 08:39:04
Source file date/time . . . . . . . . . : 08/17/95 15:03:28

Compiler . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :
Object control level . . . . . . . . . . :
Changed by program . . . . . . . . . . . : NO

Then compare the Source file date/time for the object with the same values
for source member DR006 (use option 8, display description is PDM). You
will see.....

If they are the same, you have the correct source...if not and you are on
GEAC maintenance, it will require contacting GEAC and reviewing mod
markers or going back through your PTF source shipped from GEAC.

Sorry my object and source names do not match...but this should give you
the just of what needs to be done....

I have done a change to DR006 in OSLDRS3 lib and apparently that's the
wrong source

the right one is in OSLAPS3 ... but the object reference shows that the
source has taken from OSLDRZ3 ..... this lib is not in the system now....

so what I did was I took the OSLAPS3 source and compiled it and had a look
at the size of it which was 262144

but the size of the original object is 106496 ... only difference is when
the original object was created the OS version was V3R1M0 and now its
V5R1M0 .... would this change the size of the object if the source is the
same ?

I am trying to find out whether OSLAPS3 is still the right source before I
do testing... pls let me know if U guys have any idea about this ....

Thanks for your time

Janith
