Creation of new consolidated library

We have been using a consolidated data library for several years now. Our
company has grown and rather than continue to create separate company codes,
we want to have separate data libraries for each company.
 
I know how to separate the data I need and create the physical files, but am
not quite sure how to create the logical files.
 
Have any of you done this? Is there an easy way to do so?

Any help or advice you can offer would be appreciated.
