It is hard to believe that this is your first time at this. For some of us it gets to be a routine. GEAC Support has a procedure that walks you through the recovery of a failed A/R CA session. Call them and they we'll down load the outline to you. It is very simple but has to be done correctly or it's a mess. Good luck. P.S. If you can't get something from them, call me. The error states that 'The session is a cash allocation one and cannot be recovered'. When I display the transactions on 6/ARE the session total is zero, but there are many detail lines. The Session Status says 'Initial - Active'. This happened due to the user losing power. How do I get this data posted? Any help and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
