I have heard of and experienced this problem first hand in the early versions of JBA Exploder... Can you tell me what JBA Exploder version you are running...? If your user is attempting to run the option for MPS from a blueberry GUI icon then you need to authorize them to the specific task that is associated with that blueberry... This is one of those gotchas where the task that is used with the 11/MPS menu option is one thing but the task assigned to the blueberry icon in Exploder is another number... If you go into Task Authority for this user and use a 2 to grant specific authority to the task assigned to the blueberry and have them try that... The other solution is if they are indeed using a GUI blueberry in Exploder have them try it on a server session... This task number difference between the menu and the blueberry was corrected in the June 1999 edition of Exploder... Hope that helps... Let me know... As far as I can tell, I have authorized all necessary functions through the administration menu, but the user still cannot run the MRP. Is there a function somewhere else which needs to be authorized? Any help would be greatly appreciated. We have recently lost our IS Manager and I am trying to 'hold things together' until he is replaced. Thanks in advance for your time!
