[SYS21] RE: OS400 V5R2 compatibility with System 21 3.5.1,

Spoke with a user that is running System 21 351 with OS400 v5r2 and has
encountered only minor application problems with SQL. No noted problems with
applications existing in IPG** libraries.

Also, this is GEAC's response via answerlink:
                                                                            
"I have no knowledge
 about a statement being made that V5R2 is not compatible with 351 of
System21. In fact, on Nov. 25, 2002, the UK certified v352 SP4 to work with
V5R2. The only reason why it would not      
be compatible is if there are major changes in the operating system that does
not accept older RPG statements and commands. As I have heard nothing to this
effect, I believe that you can assume it is compatible. 

I also forgot to say that V351 is no longer a  supported version of System21
and therefore the UK will never certify any unsupported versions.
