If you really want to add value, Randall (and I KNOW that you do), you should start with Geac's ecommerce offering, and try to find out from the user community where the biggest gaps are in it, so you can try to fill some of those. Just becuase JBA used to make an art out of reinventing the wheel doesn't mean you have to. Your query is moot without further detail. In the same paragraph you're asking what functionality is required and how much programming should be estimated. Without knowing what you're proposing to deliver, there's no way to budget for it. Our CFO is wondering how much this project will cost so that we can do an adequate job budgeting. Has anyone in the group opened the sales order process to the Web including stock availability and quoted delivery dates? What components are required? How much programming should be planned (JBA 3.5.2.SP2 with some OE modifications). Any advise regarding how large the budget should be? Thanks Randall R.
