Hopefully someone gave Mr. Wolf the link to the System 21 Jobs Group on Yahoo
that Doug was kind enough to establish for us...

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/System21Jobs/

And AL is right when he says:
<<Who knows? - things could change for one of us tomorrow, and we might really
need a JBA consultant.>>
I would just add - or we might need a job suddenly...

I, likewise, received such a note.

At the risk of bringing upon myself the wrath of the JBA user community,
let me just say that I don't see Mr. Wolf's solicitation as a major problem
(provided it doesn't become a habit). I receive a dozen or so pieces of
e-mail and snail mail daily, asking me to buy all kinds of IT products and
services. Typically, it takes me less than 20 minutes a day to sort through
this stuff, and I sometimes get a valuable education in the process (learn
about a product we could use). What I did is drop the man a polite
response, letting him know we currently have no need for his services.

I realize that the solicitation was a breach of the group's protocol.
Nevertheless, let's keep peccadilloes of this kind in perspective. Who
knows? - things could change for one of us tomorrow, and we might really
need a JBA consultant. (What is it Heraclitus said?: "Nothing endures, but
change.").

In any event, Mr. Wolf seems to be a bona fide independent. I checked out
his web site - he's based in Milwaukee and says he has 18 months'
experience with JBA.

As regards his not having responded to your inquiries, Stefan, perhaps he
hasn't read his e-mail yet.

Regards to all.
