One way of "suspending" by order line would be for the line to be entered
with some standard Due Date that is out at the end of the Inventory Calendar
(e.g., 12/31/03). A report could then be produced with all the order lines
having this future date. Once a realistic promise date is determined, Order
Amend could be used to change the line's Due Date.

Of course this "standard" date would need to be changed, perhaps yearly.
