Richard, That is what I meant. In that way the accountants 12 can still use period 12 for their adjustments etc GL can be open for Period 12 and period 1 onwards... AR period 12 is closed and all new entries go to period 1 for both AR and GL. The same for AP. It may be that the accountants want to make adjustments to the year end figures.
