Re: SYS21 - Financials Interface files and UK VAT (FLPUK4)

I have created two work files , one vat session control & one vat
transaction . The Vat session control file has a status flag  similar to
SLPI0 & FLPI0 . Only when the AR & GL have been successfully posted & their
status updated to 'U' , that I post the VAT transactions. Once the vat
transactions have been posted , the vat session flag is changed to 'U' .

Hi,
I'm writing a routine to post transactions to SL and GL thru the SLPI0/1
and corresponding FLPI* files, but I'm unsure as to how to populate
FLPUK4 for Vat;

Firstly, what goes in each field on FLPUK4.

Secondly, if transactions fail validation in the posting routine and are
flagged as being in error, what effect does that have on the system if
the interface program has already written directly to FLPUK4?

Surely this must be documented somewhere?
