As regards the question of how to close PO lines en masse, I presume you
are referring to POs having lines with outstanding amounts which will never
be received. To handle these kinds of cases, we developed the following
command ...

                          Close incomplete PO line (CLSPOLN)
    Type choices, press Enter.
    JBA company . . . . . . . . . .
    Purchase order number . . . . .
    PO line number . . . . . . . . . 1-999
The heart of the command is a couple of parameterized QM queries: one sets
the receipt required field (RRYN09) in PMP09 equal to '0'; the other sets
the outstanding quantity field (QTOS03) in PMP03 equal to 0.

We choose to close PO lines one-by-one to minimize the impact of human
error, but, with a little work, one could easily customize the command to
handle an entire PO, a range of POs, POs by stockroom, etc.
