How big is the company? Some small companies have a buyer doing expanded functions. Doug Griffin <<Hi all, Recently our company's buyer asked me for permissions to access the /INP menus. My knowledge of any contraindications for this are limited. However I know that the former MIS manager seemed to have very specific opinions about who should be allowed to go where in terms of potential business conflicts of interests. Unfortunately I was only here for three or so days before she left and we did not have time to discuss in-depth aspects of System 21 other than a few AS/400 commands. >From my vantage I do not see any problems but if that were the case wouldn't the buyer already have access? I hate to tell her "no" for no better reason than, "There must've be a reason the former MIS mgr didn't want you in there." Anyway, your opinion is always appreciated. Alan>>
