You know, David, this is a real sore spot with me...
One of the most glaringly lacking bits in the JBA package is the ability to
audit who has authority to what...
(Not to mention a tool to monitor Seat usage...! But that is another story all
together...!!!)
I've been complaining about that little deficiency ever since I worked there
back in the mid '90s...
So when I got to the customer side I created this program...
Our IT audits would not have been pretty without this tool...
You can view by menu option or Appl/Task and select by company or leave blank
for all companies...
You can print the report or extract the info to a file for downloading to Excel
or whatever...
I hesitate to respond to this publicly so as not to flood the list with requests
of "Me Too"...
If you want a copy for your own use please send me a PRIVATE POST to:
jaklipa@harvardind.com
Please do not send your request to the entire list...
Thank you...

Subject SYS21 - User Menu Authorities
:
Hi All,
Has anyone put together a report to list 'who has access to what menu'?
I know I could just query the database file, but something prettier (that
also handles the '*' access) would be nice...
Thanks in advance,
David
