Try using a different task number.

0001-0099 Tasks that do not require company validation
0100-8999 Standard tasks that require
9000-9899 Bespoke tasks
9900-9999 Standard utilities

If you use the range 9000-9899 you should find that the LDA field is
populated correctly.

Subject: JBA ML - Dataarea data corruption

I am interfacing a third party package to Style 21. I have created a task
to setup the library list and have created an option to bring up the third
party software main menu. I am finding that when the menu option is
executed to bring up the third party menu the company number in the LDA is
being changed to "&&" positions 1 and 2.

The menu option calls a CL program with a "GO" command and a menu name. The
menu comes up and my library lists are correct. The change in the LDA
effects processing when using data from the LDA.

Is the task setup incorrect or possibly an authority issue?

Thanks.

Rick
