We use TL Ashford Labelling software very successfully.  It has a GUI  designer
that is very helpful.
It is an AS/400 based package.  It allows you to use data from your AS/400
database to merge data into the formats you create.

Very easy to use.

handle barcode label printing
We have requirments to produce customer specific designs
