Re: JBA ML - MRP and DRP

Since we're having a discussion of the merits of DRP, I was wondering if
anyone else has modified the System 21 DRP to perform stock balancing
across/between multiple Distribution Centers? Unfortunately, System 21 only
plans the replenishment of a DC from either a Supply Center (DOs) or from an
outside supplier (POs). For businesses with multiple DCs that sell the same
items the vanilla software doesn't help them minimized their overall stock
balances - i.e., plan DOs to move excess stock from one DC to a needy DC.

To address this we created a "Hunting" version of DRP. Has anyone else done
something similar?
