We bar code the picking ticket number and the item numbers on our pick tickets. We have modified the JBA RPG program to do this. We are using dot matrix printers(IDEA from decision data and IBM 4230) configured as *IPDS. Any *IPDS printer will work. We are using Varsity logistics to interface to UPS and Fedex. Their web site is www.varsitynet.com. If so are they using a RPG program to generate the bar code or are you using another type of software. We are looking to integrate UPS World Ship and rather than having our shipping personal key the reference number into World Ship we would just scan a bar code. Also, has anyone successfully integrated JBA system 21 with any UPS software?
