Alan, I have not heard of this product, but I can tell you about a product we use called IQR (an acronym for Inventory Quality Ratio). This product has helped us reduce our inventory dollars by over 20%, and get a better handle on what they refer to as active inventory vs. excess inventory. It requires a bit of massaging JBA data (for example, IQR wants to know last months usage, last 2 months, last 3 months, last 6 months, and the JBA tables do not store all of these figures) to get the most out of IQR, but has been well worth the effort. It also tells us what items we have open POs for that we do not actually need (since we have enough in stock to meet demand) and does all of these on a dollar basis instead of a quantity basis. If we have excess of 20 items, but each time only costs $10, it is not as much of a concern as if we have only 1 excess item with a cost of $10,000. IQR helps us to focus on the things that gives us the 'most bang for our inventory buck' so to speak. If you want more information, let me know. I understand that it's for assisting with inventories. Can someone enlighten me on this product and what it does that S21 doesn't. Maybe one day we can design an ERP comprised solely of nothing but third-party products! :) ======================================== Alan Kincer - MCP, A+ MIS - KI(USA) 501 Mayde Rd.
