Austin Powder in Cleveland uses the Lot Number field for tracking Date/Shift Codes on explosives - both purchased and manufactured. This is highly regulated by the BATF and a primary tracking device. They did do modifications to help protect the integrity of the data - mostly controlling data entry.

Does anyone use "Lot Tracking" numbers for FDA regulations? (or any other regulations) and if so, is there a way to protect the Lot Tracking numbers in JBA from being changed once entered?
