Yes - on the item/stockroom record. Up to 4 suppliers can be specified, but 
the first is regarded as primary, and will be used when requisitions are 
generated automatically from Inventory, DRP, back-to-back orders etc.

Sorry if this is too basic of a question, but is there a way to designate a
"primary" (preferred) supplier for an item when there is more than one
supplier item profile setup for the item?
