There may be more to the issue than just using a forms package like Optio, we use FormSprint here. You might want to look at the World Trade and Document Processing modules in System 21. We understand that WT with Spex(sp) is designed to help with all your needed paperwork for international orders, etc. We also were lead to believe that with DY you get better information on all our outbound documents. It is true that you do need some forms package to format the forms as required and as you know the System 21 base forms are not very good. We also have had problems getting anyone at Geac to help with the fact that there is mention of Proforma Invoices but they really don't exist in System 21. We recommend FormSprint as it is all AS/400 based and very affordable. Check with someone at Geac about WT & SPEX. Good luck, I'm available for more help if needed. Ideally, the solution would tie to the system21 OE module, capture the invoice information, and produce the appropriate documents for that country. Any ideas or leads would be greatly appreciated.
