Bill We are using DRP all of our parts are locked in to use the method G and it is working fine. The parts have to be changed to lock the method before FCP #11 Forecast Period End since that is the program which actually creates the forecast data, if you lock the method after FCP #11 yes you would have to go into 22/FCP before transfer to DRP. We are on 3.51 Judy Tingley Production Tool Supply -----Original Message----- From: Bill Kanze [mailto:wkanze@bakerlinen.com] Sent: Friday, March 09, 2001 11:39 AM To: 'jbausers-l@midrange.com' Subject: Forecast transfer to DRP From the System/21 Product Guides, it appears that "Transfer to DRP" (22/FCP) should automatically transfer the forecast that uses the method (i.e.. A, B, C, D, E, F or G) that has been locked in 'Profile Maintenance' (2/FCM). However, we have figured out through trial and error that we also have to go into 'Forecast Manipulation' (12/FCP) and press F8 before (22/FCP) will recognize that the forecast to be transferred is the one for the locked in method. If 12/FCP is not taken, the data that gets transferred to DRP appears to be meaningless; we do not know where it is coming form. How does it work for everyone else? If we are understanding the Product Guides correctly, is there a fix out there to make the system work the way it's supposed to?
