We ran this option of the Chritmas Holiday Period after our year end.

It was our first time running the program and we set the flags to keep 60 weeks
worth of movements. Therefore deleting approximately 12 months information for
2 depots and 5 months for a further 2 depots. I set it off on Saturday 23rd
December knowing that we would be back in the office on the 28th for a limited
time, and then back in after the new year.

When I came back in on the 2nd January 2001, it was still running.

I currently have over 7 million deleted records within inp95 which I am having
to reorganise this weekend.

So be warned it can be a long process. If I was to run it again I would do so
in smaller batches.

We're doing quite a bit of housekeeping at the moment and one of the jobs I'm
looking at running in the near future is 22/OEU - Archive Orders/Invoices
anybody used this and if so How long did it take. (Another option we haven't
run before) any guidlines would be a great help.

Thanks

Jon
