RE: MSP99 -- SYSTEM21

× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

Neil makes a good point...  Yes we clear these files only after we take
down all background processing jobs and we even take QINTER down for 15
minutes too...  Only after that do we attempt to clear any of the record
locking files...

One thing to be careful of (apologies if it is mentioned elsewhere):- The
various System 21 background jobs also use some of the 99 files.  We clear
the 99 files each night, but only when the background jobs have all been
ended pre-backup.
