I decided to investigate the source of these records... It seems they come
from various places so I checked the source code for all programs in
OSLMJS3 scanning for @CPISYS... There I found many programs that reference
@CPISYS as the SYSTEM portion of the common program interface... There is
a USER portion too...!!!

In fact here is the entire list of files (for the USER side) I found in the
OSLD1F3 library on our system...
(We have consolidated OSLD2F3 into OSLD1F3 so your list may look
different...)

Object Type Attribute Text
@CPIUAC *FILE PF-DTA Advanced Customer Scheduling CPI User
@CPIUAI *FILE PF-DTA EDI application interface - V3 CPI Us
@CPIUAS *FILE PF-DTA Advanced Shipping CPI User File

@CPIUJC *FILE PF-DTA Job Management Development Env CPI Us
@CPIUJM *FILE PF-DTA Job Management Development CPI User F
@CPIUOE *FILE PF-DTA Sales Order Processing V 3.0 CPI User
@CPIUPM *FILE PF-DTA Purchase Management Version 3 CPI Use
@CPIUSA *FILE PF-DTA Sales Analysis V3.0 CPI User File
@CPIUSH *FILE PF-DTA Scheduling Version 3 CPI User File
@CPIUTP *FILE PF-DTA Transport Planning CPI User File
@CPIUTS *FILE PF-DTA Telesales version 3 CPI User File
@CPIUUS *FILE PF-DTA US Sales Tax Version 3 CPI User File
@CPIUVS *FILE PF-DTA Vendor Sheduling V3 - Developm CPI Us
@CPIUWH *FILE PF-DTA Warehousing version 3 CPI User File
@CPIUWT *FILE PF-DTA World Trade V 3.0 CPI User File

In OSLPDF3 we find:
@CPIUMJ *FILE PF-DTA Repetitive for Process CPI User File
@CPIUPD *FILE PF-DTA Manufacturing PDM - V3.0 CPI User Fil

In OSLCSF3 we find:
@CPIUCS *FILE PF-DTA OSL Cash Book, version 1. Field Refer

In OSLSLF3 we find:
@CPIUSL *FILE PF-DTA OSL Sales Ledger version 2. CPI User

In OSLFIF3 we find:
@CPIUFI *FILE PF-DTA Version 3 Advanced Fin. Integ. CPI Us

There are even more on the SYSTEM side too...
In IPGAGP3 we find:
@CPIUAG     *FILE       PF-DTA      IPG/400 Version 2 Field Reference Fil

Needless to say they are ubiquitous...!!!

I suggest that perhaps these files need purging too... I grant you that
most of these files are empty but for those that have records in them you
will probably need to devise some automated program for clearing them out
in the night job when there are no locks on the files...

Looks like there is some untidy leftover logic in the code if indeed these
files are no longer needed by the system...

We experienced the same "file full" problem with IPGCFP4/@CPISYS. The
response from several JBA consultants was that this file belonged to the
bygone era of IPG, and is no longer used by any applications. We've been
clearing this file weekly and haven't had any problems. We're on V3.5.0.
