We're running JBA 3.5.0 with a Vertex interface in place. I'm under the
impression that we were one of, if not the first client to receive said
interface. The work came out of Chicago and my programming contact was a
woman by the name of Kumudu Ratanyake (I hope the spelling is correct). I
hope this helps.

I would be VERY surprised if Debbie Littlepage wrote a single line of
code...!!!
She was a manager in the Novi office prior to her departure to Future 3...
It may have come out of the Novi office but doubtful that Debbie wrote
anything...
The personnel in the Novi office have mostly gone...
You might try giving the office a ring and asking for the programming
manager (Just happens to be Tom Littlepage these days (Debbie's
husband))... 248-380-6900 or 800-522-8731 will take you direct to the
Novi office...
If that doesn't work, you should try to speak directly to Kerin Pease or
his wife Glenn Pease - I think they're in Chicago... 800-522-8729... Be
prepared for voice-mail jail when you call Chicago these days... Kerin's
extension is 4149 and Glenn's is 4148...
Good luck...

The Vertex Interface was written by Glenn Pease's group. I believe a lot
of
the programming was done by Debbie Littlepage.

Dan, where and who did you get the JBA/Vertex interface from? I have been
trying to get it for over a month now and no one at JBA/GEAC can tell me
where to get it.

Subject: RE: Vertex Interface
The JBA Vertex "interface" is a misleading term if you think of it as a
product. To work with Vertex, JBA modifies dozens of programs (customer
maintenance, order entry, invoicing, etc.) to support Vertex. So for every
new release or service pack of JBA, you need the new set of modified
programs that support Vertex. So what you get when you buy the "interface"
are the Vertex enabled versions of regular JBA programs.
We are told the Vertex version of JBA for v3.5.2 sp3 works with Vertex
release 3.5.03 (the release we're on). I don't know if this is the latest
Vertex release and whether JBA supports later releases. I believe 3.5.03
is
the first release of Vertex that is fully Y2K compliant.

The specific question about Vertex is twofold. First, if you upgrade to
JBA 3.5.2 sp3, what version of the JBA/Vertex Interface do you use, and
second, what version of Vertex does this interface to?
