There is security validation over this file as well... For instance... Deleting a company number from this option in Common Functions is one really swift way of taking a company off line...! If this record does not exist in the file IPGAMF4/APG13PHY then none of the applications can use that company for ANYTHING...!!! In practical terms this is probably not a viable method for restricting access to a company (although it might be used for that on a temporary basis...) because even if you do eliminate the record from APG13PHY that does not eliminate the data in the files within the various applications that pertain to that company number... Purging those records becomes a much larger undertaking... Your original subject said "Licence [assignments]" so you're probably trying to understand more about how your seats are used up when users log into the system etc... This file has little or nothing to do with Licensing or seat usage within JBA... The are some very thorough explanations of that on the web page : http://jbaworld.com/services/customer/index.htm And there may even be some prior discussions in the archives of this list...: http://archive.midrange.com/ Good luck... Additional company parameters are available within each application. In most cases, a company (such as the proverbial 'Z1') has to be set up both in option 4 from ADMINISTRATION, and the actual application that you're executing (OE, IN, etc.). This latter validation is performed by whichever program you have defined as the "Company Validation" program for the application inside Application Manager. Hope this helps.
