Robert
Hi, I am new to this list (not JBA) as of yesterday. We also use Advance
Order Entry. There is a way to order from multiple stockrooms, but you
need to be aware of the side effects.
To get a part form a different stock room, once you are in the order (either
from original entry or through amend) press F14 for the Header, and this
will display the header defaults, which includes the stockroom, change the
stockroom and press enter.

Any products from that point forward will be sourced from that new
stockroom.

The side effects include multiple pick notes (obviously as you are going to
different stockrooms to get the items)
But also that means multiple invoices for that customer.

Hope that helps. If I did not make myself clear, please feel free to
contact me again.

In Advanced Order Amend we need to be able to change the stockroom
associated with an order line. Right now we go through the painful route
of deleting the line and setting up a new order. There must be a better
way. The Sourcing option does not allow you to change the SR. Does anyone
do this, or know which flag to switch on to allow it? Any problem w/
allocations?

Thanks.
