1.  When entering an item via 1/MDM, at the bottom of the screen, there are function keys listed.  One of them is F24 - More Keys.  Press that.  You will then see F22 - Purchase text.  Press F22, enter text for the purchased item that should appear on the purchase order, Press F8 to update text, then enter throught he rest of the item master to save it all.
 
2.  When you are entering line items on your purchase order, you enter the item number, quantity, unit of measure, stockroom, price, ... , and the next field is "Full text  (1=yes)"  Enter a 1 in this field for any line items you want to have text printed on the P.O. for.  Complete processing as ususal.

Given the following, how can you get pre-entered text for items to print on purchase orders?
 
1.  The item supplier profile text does not print on the purchase order.
2.  The purchase text found on the inventory item master screen does not print on the purchase order.
3.  On an item that has had purchase text entered, there is another screen that asks for purchase description.  Surprisingly, that does not print on the purchase order.
 
Is there something I am missing or have I not got something set up right for this to occur?  It would be nice to have a feature for items similar to the external supplier text.
