22/GLU only does a Verify G/L Data Base ... If you really are intending to Rebuild the balances you will need to run: 21/GLU Rebuild G/L Balances But fair warning, This is not something you want to do lightly... The last time we ran a rebuild on our Model 720 it took nearly a solid week to finish the rebuild... Here are our record counts for our key G/L files and we've only been live for two years on about 10 plants and they each have their own G/L company... Member No. of name records FLP062 40,128,092 FLP008 11,381,017 FLP007 2,667,995 I know I did not answer your question directly but you really should not have to use the 21/GLU Rebuild G/L Balances as a "regular" step in your financial operation... The rebuild should only be used to fix problems and really as a last resort in my opinion... There has to be a better answer that addresses the root cause of your problem and not simply treating the symptoms... Perhaps others will give you more illuminating comments... Good luck... Has anyone else experienced this? Do we have to run 22/GLU rebuild balances each month? We rebuild hierarchies when we add a new account, should we rebuild hierarchies every month (32/GLM)?
