Very creative thinking Ram...!!! And may I add - an excellent illustration of why it is important to have access to the Source Code...!!! Use of the VCOD15 field in INP15 (Descriptions file) for things other than VAT is not uncommon... I think they found a need to add more functionality into the Desc. file and thought that this would be a conveinient field to use for some Major Type codes... And so it evolved into more creative uses... I do not have a clear picture of what other fields and other codes are used for in this file... Perhaps someone else knows more... You said you saw it in the Source Code was there no indication there as to what a '2' represented...? Good luck... I tried this feature in test and it worked like a charm. But I still want a second opinion because what has a vat code to do with allocations????. I also want to know what happens if I have a '2 ' in the VCOD15 field because the program also checks for a value of '2' Thanks in advance for your Help Ram S.
