This note is to explain the screen changes question raised earlier. Without any work Jacada provides the ability to deal with undefined screens. When an undefined screen is presented Jacada presents a default UI for the screen. It is a simple UI but it does work. Jacada does have a developers kit which provides the ability to manipulate the screens and or define screen changes. This tool uses the knowledge base that the System 21 product development center has built. Availability of the development kit and the knowledge bases is a local issue. Can I please refer the US questions on availability to Peter Quinn, 847-590-0299 or pquinn@jbana.com. For the European users on the list please contact Alastair Middleton, 01527496200. The distribution operations undertakes packaging, pricing and availability. Geac personnel could undertake to create the Jacada application to your modified or bespoke panels if you are unhappy with the default UI supplied by Jacada. It is also feasible that you could undertake this yourself after acquiring the knowledge base and tool, assuming they are distributed in your region. Please note you need both the tool and the knowledge base to accomplish this. There are small changes required to the display files as well to provide a unique identifier on the panel DDS that jacada could then recognize prior to presenting a panel. Hope that helps. +--- | This is the JBA Software Users Mailing List! | To submit a new message send your mail to JBAUSERS-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to JBAUSERS-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to JBAUSERS-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: doug333@aol.com. +---
