  • Subject: Jacada for JBA and System 21 Explorer - do they work together?
  • From: Dan Thomas <DThomas@xxxxxxxxxxx>

Maybe the document from Bruce McIntyre will answer this (if I ever get it),
but does anyone know the relationship between these two products? My guess
is that with Jacada that Explorer would still be used but that the launched
task would use a Jacada interface against the application instead of the
current "semi-GUI" JBA screen. I can imagine though that this might be the
case with the VB version, but not Java because I don't think Explorer is web
browser enabled at all. So when you're running the Java version, what is
going to be the menu system? I still don't understand why getting this info
from JBA is so difficult and why something hasn't been put on the website or
sent out to all customers. It's obvious based upon the responses on this
mail list to the Jacada document offer that people are interested in knowing
more. You would think JBA would want to sell this and part of that is
telling people about it. I'm finding the new Geac/JBA a very strange beast
indeed.
