In addition, I have been hearing and seeing literature and correspondence from various sources regarding the use of Jacada in the JBA System/21 product line. It appears that JBA is leveraging this product for other purposes also... not just for a GUI front end. There is a new product in the works called JBA Jacada Connects that will utilize XML to load orders into System/21 electronically... this appears to be much more broad-based that what has been discussed here to date.... I thought I'd share my findings. This introduction was made at the GEAC customer tour a few weeks ago. As I recall it can be used both over your intranet and the internet. One of the features I remember in the demo was that a right click on the mouse would bring up the former F key functionality. The thing I am most interested in is: how companies like yours will deal with this new interface. Will companies who have made a significant investment of time and money be willing to dump Client Workspace and/or Explorer for Jacada. What kind of investment of time and money will be required for companies like yours to migrate to Jacada. I'm interested in any and all opinions.
