Recommendation

I don't believe I could give a positive recommendation about JBA System 21
either.

Granted, most of my prior experience has been with custom written
packages.... but there are obvious things in the product that make me
question it's longevity and salability.  We have record locking issues,
reports that attempt to print 11,000+ pages, jobs that crash, etc.

We are attempting to use the ACRES/MACRES and AFI modules, and so far
neither of these have been working for us.  We are now going on our fourth
(that's right, 4th) JBA consultant who specializes in financials... all the
others have now left the company.

I also heard from an internal source that there seems to be a sort of exodus
from the company.

Since I don't have prior experience with many other off-the-shelf packages,
I cannot conclusively say that any others are any better... I can base that
opinion from what I have been hearing from others.

But I can say that this package worries me.
