Jim,

That is exactly what I meant.  We had some problems with this stuff early on
and we were unable to fix things ourselves.  Where we have the source code,
or at least the docs, we can at least muddle through.  I will admit that we
did get good support in this area, but I would prefer to understand what is
going on myself.  Just my 2 cents.
