Another solution will be for you to create a 2 step CL program

CL program 1
DSPOBJD (&name of journal receiver names to an *OUTFILE)

CL program 2
Read the created *OUTFILE and check for the reference day and time
--- Delete the ones that you do not want ---

Another solution will be to use the IBM API program to
inquire the *JRNRCV and check the creation date and time attributes
