I found a typo in the gateway IP address. I haven't got everything to work yet but that gets us over the immediate hurdle.

Hello Dave,

sounds like a routing problem, does the AS/400 point to the same default
gateway
as the other hosts on that network ?
Is your wireless segment routed or bridged ?
