This library handles the emailing of output for a number of ASC's products.
The enhanced version can handle splitting of spool files, etc.

Do you have ASC's SEQUEL product installed? If so, Esend will handle the
emailing of Excel documents directly from a SEQUEL view. If it were me, I'd
run a scan on your production CL source and make sure that you don't have
any EXECUTE statements that send Excel, .CSV or tab deliminated files
directly to the end user via email. [Look for EXECUTE commands with a PCFMT
and/or RECIPIENT parameter.] Where I'm at we send out a dozen reports by
email every morning, and end users have access to menu options that transmit
report results the same way: once you start sending out reports in Excel
format, your users will never want anything else again.

If you aren't using any other ASC products you can safely delete ESEND (and
you will want to delete ASCSUPPORT as well...).
