Well... my entire job was started at 10:30 last night, and I just cancelled
it before I wrote this message.

Can you run multiple commands in the do statement so I only have to do one
iteration??

QSH CMD('for autfil in $(find /law7d/*); do +
             system "CHGOWN OBJ(''"$autfil"'') +
             NEWOWN(LAWTDADMIN)"; done')
QSH CMD('for autfil in $(find /law7d/*); do +
             system "CHGAUT OBJ(''"$autfil"'') +
             AUTL(LAWIFSAUTL)"; done')
QSH CMD('for autfil in $(find /law7d/*); do +
             system "CHGAUT OBJ(''"$autfil"'') +
             USER(*PUBLIC) DTAAUT(*AUTL) +
             OBJAUT(*NONE)"; done')

Mike:

Since this thread is being FAQ'd, can you supply the actual QSH commands
that you are running? There might be variations that can reduce the overall
time. At worst, perhaps you can provide an estimated count of
directories/files, a basic description of your system and the final elapsed
time?
